ArtPrize 2014

The madness we call ArtPrize is in full swing and will continue for 2 1/2 more weeks. Art is everywhere throughout the city in hundreds of venues, each artist competing for various popular & juried awards. I thought this was an interesting piece and caught myself in my own photo :-)

The contest brings swarms of out-of-towners into the city, wandering everywhere, including into oncoming traffic, all the while trying to find their way around.

It's fun to see crazy stuff popping up everywhere and it's great for restaurants & bars, but it's always a sweet sigh of relief when it's over and we get our city back :-)
