Abergavenny

From the top of the Blorenge mountain (as we call it - some would call it a hill), there is a glorious view of Abergavenny, with the Skirrid mountain in the background. In the foreground is Llanfoist village, then the Heads of the Valleys road cuts across the scene, then there's a large squarish area that is housing in the process of being built, then the River Usk goes across (which you can see at the left of the scene, otherwise obscured by trees), then the Castle Meadows, which form a flood plain, and then Abergavenny proper.

Not a bad place to be, is it!
