Clarence Docks

Jess' bday today and bf Nathan is up for the weekend, as is Joe, so it's nice to have a house full! We all tootled off to Leeds for a couple of cocktails (one of the bonuses of having grown up children!) followed by a really lovely mean at 'The Botanist'.
Prior to the taste and drink sensations I had a little wander round Clarence Docks in Leeds - where I came across cubes of artificial grass and orange deck chairs which were overlooking the canal boat docks - and which I thought looked pretty quirky against the very cool graffiti walls brightening up the base of the huge and very trendy apartment blocks.
Jess has been spoilt rotten - as all birthday princesses should be - and we've all left just enough room for Jess' chocolate birthday cake! :)
