Last One Standing

This is one of the last remaining poppies in the field and I've never seen one as red as this before. I wanted to blip the most gorgeous steam roller that went through the village but I had the dogs on the lead at the time and Fionne went ballistic with the noise, so had to abandon.

I was meant to be painting my Daughter's flat today but she'd mislaid the paint and couldn't remember the name of it, so we weren't able to buy more.

Phew....got off lightly. Just as well really, as I think I've got some kind of virus. I ache all over, have a bad head and I'm freezing cold. Hopefully the hot toddy I've just knocked back will kick in and I'll be fighting fit by morning.
