Texture: icy

A bit of a late start to the day but we headed off to the Trossachs with two canoes still strapped to the car (see yesterday's Pensioner.) with the half-hearted thought that we might use them on Loch Ard. Instead we wandered around the woods above Aberfoyle. Me carrying Ellen and Mandy dragging the most reluctant Ewan. With the sun shining, it was lovely if freezing cold. The stream that runs through the woods had these amazing ice growths - huge crystals of ice, reminiscent of Superman's fortress of solitude but on a small scale. Until somebody zooms in.
