Homeward Bound

After a night in the marina we woke up to the worst weather we had had all holiday. Having said that it wasn't really bad overcast with just a hint of rain in the air. After CC's phone call yesterday we were anxious to get back to Cumbria quickly. I took this shot from the foredeck of Solace as we were unloading our things from her.

CC and "The Mate" were due to be doing a session in the studio in the late afternoon but in view of the need to get up to the hospital this was cancelled.

We had a trouble free run back up the M6 picked upour car and carried straight on to Carlisle so that CC could visit her Mum in hospital.
