Fight for Polish independence

This is a photograph of a small part of a painting. The painting is a 360 degree panorama which took 9 months to complete and depicts an uprising by the people of Poland to try and establish their independence. It is located in the Oddziat Muzeum in Wroclaw (pronounced Rotswaff) and is titled Panorama Ractawicka.

I am here in Wroclaw for one and a half days at a meeting and got the chance this afternoon to visit this astonishing work of art.
