Squash and Sunflower

A garden day, weekend really, making use of a bit of indian summer weather. Yesterday, after work, I weeded the drive, scarified two thirds of the lawn and erected the new swingball whilst Tom and Beck were out at an Open Day at DeMontfort and Katie was hanging somewhere with her mates. Today I finished the scarification and tidied up the vegetable bed, then we ate outside and my overly competitive family managed to put a significant bend in the swingball pole (24 hours, it lasted - they certainly don't make them like they used to...!)
