Traditional way

Photo is from Vilniemi, old village near Hamina.
It is nowadays very popular place to build your own house (The Finnish Dream) around here, but you still can found these old narrow village roads and red ochre painted granaries there. Picturesque, or what?

I'm quite happy for new wall color in our living room. Still need to do the second layer.
So paint roller is waiting me :)
