Red Cliffs meet the torquoise Indian Ocean

Today started off very well however became complicated when we got lost in our four wheel drive on a bumpy, corrugated dirt road which wasn't the way to James Price Point - our intended destination. Fortunately with some help from a friendly truck driver we made it to James Price Point an hour and a half later than expected. But it was really worth it as you can see from the foto.

This has been a controversial site over the last couple of years as a gas processing hub was proposed for the area to process offshore gas. After a lot of opposition the proponents withdrew the proposal and will now process the gas on a floating platform (ship). It would have completely destroyed this beautiful and unique coast line.
