In the foyer of the Museu Fundación Juan March, set in a 17th-century mansion known as the Can Gallard des Canyar, one finds under the staircase a ghostly and fascinating sculpture from 1990, hewn in alabaster as part of a series by the celebrated Basque sculptor Eduardo Chillida.
