Nearly finished!

This is my first ever crochet project and it is a "granny stripe" blanket. It was really simple to make, once I had studied on-line tutorials and had a few false starts.

The colours are beginning to annoy me now. Some of the pink colours remind me of cat food and meat paste and the sort of elastoplast that frays at the edges.

But I am just putting the simplest of simple borders round the edge to finish it off and then it is done.
