Senator

Spent some time talking with U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley this morning. He was on campus for a town hall meeting discussing issues faced by college students, including the high costs associated with obtaining a degree. I was very impressed with our students and touched by their individual stories. In the face of adversity and struggle, these students persist and find ways to pursue their dreams. Truly impressive.
