Meeting Henry McLeish

This morning I met up with the former First Minister Henry McLeish. I've known Henry for over 30 years, and although we are connected to different political parties, we have also got on well together.

Today we were discussing a range of education policy issues (with a wee bit of politics thrown in). I think we both enjoyed our chat.

After about 90 minutes we had to close our meeting as Henry was about to be interviewed by the Sunday Times about the future of the Labour Party in Scotland. I didn't say anything about that. But I could have!
