Languishing Slowly

It has been a bit since I have posted a still life...

7 long stem roses for 7 years. Hoping for many more too!

The amazing thing about these flowers is that the pink ones held up better than the red and white ones. Eternal love? We've kept them on the table now for 10 days and a pity to throw out while at least a few are pretty. The color version is pretty amazing too, but I think the mono gives the best send off.

Today they met their end.

I just wish this cold would meet it's end?! Yesterday's rest got me through today, but I feel this is going to be a long crappy multiple week crud. Caffeine and nasal spray are my friends now.
