Three Square Windows

A busy day today. This artistic image was captured just before lunch, walking down from a tour of Sighisoara's old town.

That morning we had driven by a village with a number of large buildings built by gypsies, giving a look at one major aspect of their life in Romania. Then we visited the major fortified church at Biertan. We returned to Sighisoara, had our walk and lunch, and then took a less than 2-hour drive to Brasov, where we are spending the night (after a walk around its center and an excellent dinner in our hotel).

I'm posting this image because I like it--follow the links above for images of the touristic sights. I'll perhaps return to such tomorrow :) The image reminds me directly of many paintings by Josef Albers, and specifically his long series, Homage to the Square.
