Knitting and purlimy

Here is my very first knitted and purled sweater blocking on the bed. (I have to do it this way because Smitty thinks it's hilarious to pull the pins out. I've mentioned this before so it's no surprise that things never change.)
Anyway, once I washed the knitted pieces, they were dramatically different size-wise from the schematic in the pattern. So, I stretched it longer and bunched it up narrower and am hoping for the best. :0)
