Red Sky In The Morning

Red sky in the morning - doesn't mean rain!

This was the sight that greeted me from our back doorstep this morning - beautiful bubbly red clouds. Image tweaked a little in Topaz Detail to bring out the texture in the clouds which seemed to get lost in the RAW image.

The rest of the day was warm and sunny - managed to cut the grass ahead of the predicted rain this weekend.

On our dog walk this afternoon we went to the woods. The path leads right under a beech tree and the high winds have shaken loads of beech nuts down. The dogs were not really sure about walking over the prickly surface.
