The Little Blowhole

You really gotta see this LARGE.

Starting from the same place, today we struck out north toward Kiama. The conditions were much the same except that this leg of the course featured more beaches and we were often a lot closer to houses. The weather also looked a fraction grim at times but nobody got wet at all.

What you see above is the "Little Blowhole" of Kiama. We are standing at one of those latite basalt rock platforms so common along the seashore here. All of a sudden there is this loud "Whooomph!!" noise and foamy spray bursts forth from a small hole in the ground. If you can speed up the capture enough, the result can be interesting, I think.

Here is a glimpse of Easts Beach
Here is an overall glimpse of Werri Beach, our finishing point from yesterday
Here is a shot of an old rock wall with a little timber bridge to take walkers across it. I could not resist the urge to render it in my currently favourite Silver Efex recipe.
Here are some cattle idly watching the coastal walkers earnestly trudging their way north and south.
