Perfection in a Cone.

The perfect ice cream has to be at correct temperature to provide right texture, not too hard that it chills the mouth, neither should it be so soft it runs down your shirt!

The cone itself must be crisp and fresh with just a hint of almond.

OK so far, now here's the important part.

To enjoy at its fullest you must prepare your tastebuds for the first lick, this should not be rushed, it will taste better than all that follow and if you are lucky it will transport you back to happy childhood days when ice cream tasted sweeter was more wholesome and ....lasted longer.

Today's cone was Equi's vanilla from Nardini's at Largs. Always my favourite, never disappoints but remember you must first apply your sensory perceptions.
