Sandridge 900

This year is the 900 year celebrations of St Leonard's church in Sandridge. There have been many events throughout the year. Inside today, along with the flower festival is a display of 'the knitted village'! It's very cute, brilliantly created but not particularly my cup of tea!!


Decided I preferred to blip a photo of the actual church ;-)
Pete has walked round this church every day since September 1990 when we got our first dog Hazel. I'm not lazy, I do the afternoon walk, I have on occasions done the am. walk when he's been away and when I don't want to go too far in the afternoon.


We will miss it :-( and the village and it's three pubs!!!
