Dawn over Lopness

Woke up at six am to catch the race at Suzuka on the tube. (Are they still colloquially called that now that most are flat-screen?)

Shouldn't have bothered but was at least awake to capture the sunrise before the start.

Watched the gp until the race was stopped, none of the commentators aware of the Jules crash. I can only hope that he makes a full recovery.

The weather is building to a crescendo, presently warming it's lungs to be ready to give full voice the morn. Kayak in shed and plans for trip to Kirkwall on hold until the concert's over.
