Crab Apples

Lazy day today - was up early though, so I watched the motor racing - terrible news about Bianchi - hope he is ok.

Felt a little chilly out even though it was sunny - so when we went for our walk I had a sweatshirt on - but boy I soon warmed up and wished I had left it behind!

Watched some piglets frolicking around in the fields, watched a horse escape from its enclosure (a low electric fence was all that was keeping it in) and then had Katie chasing a black pheasant - not seen one around here before! Suspect he may not come back again now. Katie was very pleased with herself.

Found these crab apples on the tree alongside the path - quite a good crop this year and they seem larger than usual.
