where the magic happens

this is joel in the studio.
his band, black coyote, is recording their first ep (which does not yet have a title that i know of).
they are the first band to record in this beautiful new studio called clap of thunder, which is headed up by gabe gonzalez and jim ward of sleepercar.
they've been playing together about a year now, more or less. i'm so very very proud of them.
