Harvest thanks giving

This evening we want to our churches harvest service of thanks giving. I was a splendid service as always. The church looked glorious, when we arrived the stained glass window behind the altar was glowing bright and more golden than usual. It was like something new why we were all gathered in the church. Each window was full of colour be it flowers, vegetables and canned or dried goods.
This is the window I did with a friend, I'm so very pleased with how it turned out.
After the service there was a small spread and wine, so it was only right to stay and have a good catch up. At the rear of the church some of the pews have been removed and an enclosed seating area made, which was wonderful it made eating, drinking and chatting a lot easier.

Then to the local pub over the road for a pint before home in time for X factor and Downton my perfect Sunday.
