Ploughing "old style"

We visited my brother in law in North Cave this weekend and had the pleasure of attending a ploughing competition!
The horses were huge but responded immediately to any command given, the precision with which the men measured and adjusted the ploughs, the beautiful straight rows of turned soil all made for a fascinating day out.
