My Favourite Hands

Miss E started piano lessons at school a few weeks ago. We've been meaning to sort it out for ages as she's been keen to learn but typically hadn't done anything about it.
A chance remark from a teacher at school reminded me that they can have music lessons during school time so I asked if it was possible for Miss E to start piano lessons. That was on a Friday afternoon. Monday afternoon the teacher said she was all signed up to start on the Thursday. Perfect!!!
She loves it!
I love watching her practice - nodding her head and counting the beats. Very sweet!
And I don't have to take her anywhere, woohoo!!
Mrs C and I did a baby sale in Aylesbury this morning. Just what I felt like doing in the pouring rain with a stinking cold!
We got there at 9am and had plenty of time to unload and set up our stall. As luck would have it the person with the table next to ours didn't turn up so the organisers asked us if we'd like to spread out a bit. Excellent! We'd bought far too much stuff for the ridiculously tiny 4 foot table!!
It was chaos once they opened the doors. About twenty thousand people flooded in, the temperature went up by about 100 degrees and they were coming at us from all sides brandishing £20 notes to pay for books costing 50p!!
But it was definitely worth doing. A bit more clutter gone and a bit more money made!!
Two more sales to go over the next couple of weekends and then it goes to the charity shop.
Clearing out feels good!!
