Locals who lunch

Today was the lunchtime 'Community Cafe' in Bunessan where volunteers made soup and sandwiches, tea and coffee and huge amounts of cake and similar yummy things! There were also a few local craftspeople displaying their wares.

After eating too much we drove down to Fionnphort and visited the 'garage' bookstall for the last time. Collecting for the lifeboats, it's closing down this year. Pity - but I bought a few books, of course, as I also did this morning at Bunessan's charity shop.

Then a walk on the white sand beach at Fidden before coming back to watch the ever-changing panorama from Em's picture window. High tide at the moment.
