Launching Kroonborg

On October 6, there was the launch of the ship Kroonborg van Wagenborg. It was a spectacular but especially good launch of the ship.
The ‘Walk to Work’ Maintanance Support Vessel provides a new approach to offshore maintenance support. The ship is designed for and with Royal Niestern Sander. The vessel is optimized for operations at the North Sea, regarding DP as well as seakeeping.

The Kroonborg is later used by the NAM to bring personnel to drilling platforms in the North Sea Rather they went for repairs daily with a helicopter back and forth. On this ship they stay overnight. On board equipment immediately available.
