Babylonstoren

These pot scarecrows are in the 8 acre formal fruit and vegetable gardens of Babylonstoren, one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms which dates back to 1690. The garden were apparently inspired by the Company Gardens in Cape Town and are a joy to explore.
Friends and I took Ken Holmes, the Kagyu Buddhist visiting teacher from France / Scotland out for lunch at Babylonstoren and I'll certainly visit again.
Even in pot land the men seem to prefer to sit while the women work? ;)
