Wave patterns - Crummock water

Really wet start to the day, and I so nearly blipped a shot from Threlkeld quarry and mining museum, (I'll put a couple on Flickr)

But ended the day in glorious light at Crummock water. I found by using a high ISO I could get a shutter speed high enough to freeze the water gushing over the dam - amazing what a day of rain does to the Lakes water levels!
