Respite

The wife's headache is a lot better today, and on getting home from a call out late morning, the weather was dry and bright.

She suggested a walk, so I booked a couple of hours free from any calls, donned the walking boots and we set off to do a local walk. I'd seen some footpaths the other day that we'd not been on before, between Lower Machen and Ochrwyth. On getting to the mobile mast near the top it started to pour down. We headed for some woods and in the middle came across this dilapidated farm shed. It was well rusted and long disused but provided a break from the deluge. After a while, the rain didn't look like easing off, so we walked the two miles back home and got soaked. My camera was under my fleece.

On getting home it was everything in the washing machine and a hot bath.

The blip photo is the shed we sheltered in. Respite from the rain and the wife enjoying respite from her headache. Not that inspiring as photo's go, but then that's the flavour of the day. Lets hope the rain and her headache eases as the week goes on.
