Beaumont Butchers Ltd

New butchers opened in the village today. They are experienced family butchers who have taken the opportunity to expand into Linton. I wish them the very best of luck.

It was strange to see the premises looking just the same, with the same pictures on the walls, same aprons etc. but with different people there. Nevertheless it's a great outcome for all concerned, not least Linton village.

I hope that having gained and then lost a butcher shop last year, the re-gaining of one (almost exactly a year later) will encourage better village support than the Ashcrofts experienced.
