Ruined Orangery in Dalkeith Estate

Took a run down into the Buccleugh Estate by Dalkeith Palace, but couldn't park on the grass at the usual place used in the Spring - so went down to the stables block and had a look at the ornate stonework in the ruined orangery, by the South Esk. It looks like they intend to start work soon on a new adventure playground in the park, so I guess they will be charging for access. I haven't been down through the park since Spring as our dog is developing arthritis and is getting a bit wobbly on his back legs - so I can't take him over the more rugged places we used to enjoy, such as the North Esk valley down to the North/South Esk confluence, in this park.
