Boys day out

Mum's away, so the boys will play...

The boss was in Dunbar with the girls, doing girly things (like talking, and stuff), staying the night too... so me n the wee CEO had plans.

However, the plans changed when we went into town to get a DVD. We got the DVD - and, as a treat (and a bribe for walking to the shops and potentially back), a DVD for him too. Then we were about to head to the swimming pool, when he asked, gazing up at the castle, how far away the castle was. A hint? So, I checked the Historic Scotland card was packed, went to Boots for a couple of meal deals and away we walked, stopping only in the Gardens to wait for the One O Clock Gun!

Lunch at the castle. He chose Sushi!?!

Fooled about on the cannons. All the Cannons. And admired the views. Then wandered off. All the way to the pool.

After all that walking, I don't know how he had the energy, but we dived, jumped, swam and played for an hour before walking (again) home.

In time to fire a couple of pizzas in the oven and watch How to Train Your Dragon.

Then, we put the blow up mattress into our room and he slept there, keeping me company in the absence of mum :o)
