Pretentious placement

Have been out in the garden these last few days, tidying up before the winter comes. We have a few of these conifers out the front of our house and this one was blown over and generally in the way. So in a fit of madness peak inspiration! I dug it up and stuck in this pot.
So far so good.
But then where to put the pot?
Slap bang in the middle of the patio of course!
I like here though it strike me as a little pretentious/quasi-stately home/shitey bollocks.
But that's not all folks! My dad had the awesome idea of topiary! But that won't happen til next year.
I can practically feel the conifer quaking in its, well not boots but pot? Muwahahaha!!!!
