Better-looking than when alive?

A museum again - I've got a card that gives me access to them all now. This time the Rijksmuseum Volkenkunde (National Museum of Ethnology) in Leiden, where I had to be for my Indonesian class.
This decorated skull is from modern-day Mexico (description here). The kind of stuff Indiana Jones-movies (and possibly nightmares) are made of.
