Heads Up

All this week at Mackintosh Queen's Cross we are hosting a Fine Art Exhibition for Mary's Meals.

Mary's Meals is an international movement that sets up school feeding projects in communities where poverty and hunger prevent children from gaining an education.

The exhibition includes works from top Scottish artists such as Tom Shanks, Hazel Nagl, Mhairi McGregor, James Davis, Philip Raskin, Ian Elliot and Charles Jamieson. Also within the Hall there is a sparkling show of crafts, including basketry, glass, textiles and jewellery

The exhibition has been accompanied by a series of live entertainment. Tonight we had the Morgan Lee Band. On Thursday we have a violin and piano recital by Sandie Bishop and friends. On Friday we have poetry readings by the Hidden Garden Group.

This mannequin head caught my attention in the Church. I loved the lighting effect created by the outside floodlights.
