Berlin Station

After leaving St Pancras at 11 am and changing trains at Brussels and Koln, we arrive in Berlin at 9 pm. Very exciting. In fact there are three Berlin stations, and we alight at Berlin Hauptbahnhof which has 5 levels. Our incoming train going from West to East arrives at the top level and we can look all the way down to the bottom level and see the north- south track.

And the connection with yesterday's blip? Arriva is owned by Deutsche Bahn,who provide the trains that we travel on from Brussels to Berlin. Small world? Or global capitalism?
