Sunrise and high tide

After the full moon last night there was a high tide today and it coincided with sunrise. At high tide the saltmarsh gets flooded and it is always a fabulous sight. This morning there were about 20 egrets high up on the marsh. The geese had already left when I got there ( about 7am) but there was a very healthy looking fox, rabbits and hundreds of sea birds. But my choice is the flooded marsh as I love the colours of the marsh plants.
