hanging out at the park

Today it was actually cool enough to venture outside in the afternoon (it has been over 90 every day) so we decided that we would go and see if the leaves had started to change and drop in the sports park.

We had lovely walk, even though the leaves have not really changed all that much,collected some leaves for a project later in the week and watched the squirrels. Of course we had to stop off at the play park for a while, where Wee B was very impressive. he went up to the bigger kids and introduced himself and asked if they wanted to play with him. He was a lot younger than the other children but he seemed to enjoy talking to them.

On the walk back to the truck, we noticed that a lot of the local sports teams were out practicing, so we stopped to watch one of the football teams before B spotted one of the baseball teams. We headed to the bleachers where we sat to watch and in-between the practices B would 'make me food' and serve it over the counter, It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon
