A QUICK ENDING.......

.... sadly today it became time for this particular grevillea in our back yard to be taken out!

You have seen many shots involving the "birds in our backyard" taken as they enjoyed the flowers.

Problem was after being blown over many years ago, then surviving, and after years of trimming and an attack from borers it has really struggled and become very bare inside. Then new neighbours recently moved in decided they were going to take out everything in their back yard out after moving in recently, so that really left us with a decision.

Called in the team from Jims Trees (Richard, Richard and Craig) who we have used before for trimming, and it came down this morning!

The noisy minors were beside themselves as it came down, and I caught these two showing some acrobatics. Have a look at the one actually flying backwards.
