St. Hubert's Church

Standing all alone about a mile from Finchdean is Idsworth Church. Mr P and I visited this isolated church this morning after a visit to B&Q.
You cross a small wooden bridge over the course of the river Lavant, up a small incline where the little church sits. It is thought to be built around 1053 and has some superb medieval wall paintings as well as a new fresco to celebrate the millennium in 2000.
