Amaryllis

This is now the real Amaryllis belladonna, a hybrid, of course, as she is so red. Amaryllis belladonna is native to South Africa and typically pale pink or white. People have said that they flower shortly after a bush fire. My Amaryllis flowers in March and in August again.
