Heron

It has been a while since I have been to Pleasure House Point. This heron was quite the poser. I was able to get quite close without him blinking an eye...

As I was leaving, I was asked by 2 groups of people if I had seen any sparrows. I wonder if I missed out on something...Will have to figure out if I missed out on a rare migrating sparrow sighting!

Addendum:

Did a little research on ebirds.com and Nelson's sparrows/saltmarsh sparrows have been sighted there in the past couple of days. Might have to return this weekend and see what I can find...
