Reception Party

After work tonight I went to our local community hall to help run a wedding reception for a local couple. We host about four weddings a year here - we could do more but it is run entirely by volunteers - cooking, serving, decorating, bar, stewarding, and cleaning up. We use the payment for this to raise funds for our hall so that everyone in the community can benefit from it. Fortunately it was a wonderful afternoon and the guests mingled outside in the sun to await the bridal party. Here, the piper is just preparing to greet the bridal couple. It was a long day, but loads of fun.
