What I See

"It's not what you look at that matters; it's what you see." (Henry David Thoreau)

Not exactly a Mediterranean seaside town... but suburban, far-from-the-sea Sutton Coldfield on an autumn afternoon - that's what I'm looking at.

But what I SEE is the spot in this whole world where I have been carefully placed, for some good purpose, and where I have a home (with no bombs falling on it), and a family (who I love greatly), and a church community (who keep me grounded).

I am grateful.
