Climb All Your Mountains in Life

Today was the day we celebrate the wonderful world of books, and more importantly bookshops, as it Books are my Bag day! If you’re a regular follower of me you will know my love for books, rather than the electronic version, because they’re magical things.

I took a trip to Cardiff and made a few purchases, and yes some of them were Christmas presents. I think it was a good day!

Signing his book in the shop was Richard Parks, an inspirational ex rugby union player who has raised thousands and thousands of pounds for charity by doing extreme challenges such as the 737 Challenge, 7 summits of the highest peaks in the world, 3 poles in 7 months. The guy is so down to earth and had time for everyone today in signing his book, he even left an inspirational message for me as he signed his book (part of which is in the title of this blip). He deserves more recognition for what he has done.

Watched the Super League Grand Final tonight, Wigan lost to Saint Helens which it hurts. They weren’t helped though by their prop Ben Flowers getting sent off in the second minute for a disgraceful punch.
