Berlin today...

...seems very calm and relaxed. Wide streets, bikes and bicycle lanes everywhere, the fastest growing Jewish community, the largest Turkish community outside Turkey, the third biggest gay community in the world. No doubt there are tensions, but to the casual visitor to the old East Berlin it seems pretty good.

We came across this young man in a local market. Giving out literature in opposition for TTIP (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership). There were demonstrations and events across Berlin.
