Almost ........

....... got to see the over-photographed Kelpies in Falkirk - but the car park was full and had a queue.

We drove to Camelon and parked and walked along the Forth & Clyde Canal to the much photographed Falkirk Wheel. It lifts and lowers boats between the Forth & Clyde and Union Canals. It is magnificent - well worth a visit. The photo shows it in action as it rotates and lifts one boat as it lowers another.
